Live updates as crash leaves M6 ‘partially blocked’
Motorists are being warned of delays on the M6 this morning after a smash left it ‘partially blocked’. The collision has occurred on the northbound carriageway between junctions 16 and 17. Traffic monitoring system Inrix created an alert just before 7.10am.
It states: “M6 northbound partially blocked, heavy traffic due to accident from J16 A500[1] (Stoke-on-Trent/Crewe) to J17 A534 Old Mill Road (Sandbach/Crewe).” Meanwhile a live map from National Highways shows traffic is not moving. It has triggered delays on the A500.
