Live updates as crash sees A1198 closed near Papworth Everard

The A1198 remains closed while recovery takes place. It is closed in both directions between Ermine St Junction roundabout (Godmanchester, Papworth Saint Agnes) and St Ives Road turn off (Papworth Everard).

There are other delays in the area. A Cambridgeshire County Council spokesperson said:

A141 Spittals Way, The Stukeleys eastbound between Brampton Hut and Stukeley Meadows. Heavy traffic of around a mile due to flood water. Please avoid the area if at all possible and allow extra time for your journey.

There is also heavy traffic southbound on the A1096 between Harrison Way and London Road due to an obstruction in the carriageway.
