Live updates as three-vehicle smash shuts Winsford road
A key Winsford[1] road has been closed following a crash involving three vehicles. The smash has seen Middlewich Road shut off in both directions as emergency services deal with the collision. Traffic monitoring system Inrix created an alert just before 5.15am.
The collision on the A54 is thought to have involved three vehicles and has taken place between Clive Lane and the A533. Cheshire Police has urged motorists to avoid the area. A spokesperson said: “The junction of the A533 and A54 in Winsford has been closed due to a police incident please avoid the area.”
