Loving father with ‘lively soul’ dies in crash

A loving father who would “brighten up a room” has died after a crash in the Sandfields area of Port Talbot[1]. South Wales Police[2] say they are continuing to investigate the crash on Southfields Road on Thursday, January 4. They have now named 29-year-old Jordan Lee Powell as the man who died in the crash. His family have released a tribute to Jordan through the police.

They said: “Jordan, you were a loving fiance, father, stepdad, brother, son, nephew and grandson. “You always knew how to brighten up a room with just your smile. You’d hear him before you saw him!

He was such a lively soul. He was the boy who never wanted to grow up.” South Wales Police say officers are still appealing for witnesses to the collision.

They are asking any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact them quoting reference 2400004570.
