M6 lane closures live with four miles of queues after accident near Corley Services

Queues are building on the M6 following a collision near Corley Services. Traffic website Inrix has reported that two lanes are closed on the M6 Southbound between Junction 4 at M42 Junction at Coleshill and Corley Services. It has said that there are currently four miles of queues.

The current travel time in the area is around 20 minutes. The traffic website has reported that there has been a collision. It is not yet known what vehicles are involved.

What is known is that, heading towards rush-hour, the lane closures are likely to cause delays for commuters. We have contacted West Midlands Ambulance Service about the incident and will share details as soon as we have them. This is a live blog.
