Man, 35, arrested on suspicion of assault as woman taken to hospital
A man was arrested on suspicion of assault after a woman was injured. Merseyside Police was called to Island Road, Garston[1], at around 7.30am on January 15, after reports of a disturbance. On arrival officers arrested a 35-year-old man, from Halewood[2].
He was arrested on suspicion of assault and a woman was taken to hospital. The extent of the woman’s injuries are not known.
Tonight police remain at the scene and a police car is currently stationed outside a property on the road while officers continue their investigations.
