Man, 45, arrested after drugs and cash discovered in Cleethorpes property
A 45-year-old man has been arrested after cannabis and cash were discovered inside a Cleethorpes[1] property. On Friday, December 29, officers from Humberside Police[2] carried out a misuse of drugs act warrant at a property on Clumber Place. Upon entering the property, officers seized several items including cash and a quantity of suspected cannabis.
The man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled class B drug and money laundering. He has since been released on police bail. Neighbourhood Policing Sergeant Shaun Pattinson said: “The information we receive from members of the public is really important in our investigations, and this warrant was carried out as a result of reports we received from members of our communities.
“Tackling drug crimes is a priority within Humberside Police, and we continue to target those involved in such crimes. “I would urge anyone who has any concerns about drugs within their community to please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 or 999 in an emergency.” A Humberside Police spokesperson added: “Anyone who has any information, or has CCTV or dashcam footage that may assist with our enquiries can contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 86 of 29 December.
“Alternatively if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crimestoppers via 0800 555 111.”
