Kristen Burbridge, of Branch Road, Burnley[1], has been charged by police with a litany of offences and is due before the courts next month.
It comes after Lancashire Police said a number of alleged offences were reported to them by a woman in Burnley last week. Burnley and Padiham Police said a woman received several messages from Burbridge allegedly of a threatening nature, which are said to have made threats towards her and towards her property. It is alleged Burbridge then sent videos in which a dog was being assaulted.
Burbridge was arrested last week and now has been charged with 12 offences in total; four counts of criminal damage, two counts of making threats to kill, threatening criminal damage, intentional strangulation, stalking, sending malicious communications, and causing unnecessary suffering to an animal.
He is due to appear before court in February.
Burnley and Padiham Police said: "Lancashire Police would like to take this opportunity to reiterate to the public its commitment to secure charges against those who [allegedly] commit serious and violent offences of this nature, and that it will not be tolerated."
