Man charged with manslaughter after body found on railway tracks

A man has been charged with manslaughter after another man was found dead on railway tracks in north Wales. A British Transport Police spokesperson has confirmed the charge more than a year after the death of 40-year-old Keith Ford. The force spokesperson said: “Officers were called to the line near Prestatyn Golf Club at 5.10pm on July 13, 2022, following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

Paramedics also attended. However, a man, Keith Ford, aged 40, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family are being supported by our specially trained family liaison officers and have asked for privacy at this time.”

Patrick Kennedy, a 48-year-old from Manchester with no fixed address, is due to appear at Llandudno[1] Magistrates Court tomorrow (January 3).
