Man charged with ‘murder’ after Banbury death as police reveal name

A Banbury man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder (Image: Newsquest) A man has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Banbury[1]. Janaed Akhtar, 39, of Cope Road, Banbury, was charged with one count each of murder and perverting the course of justice.

The charges relate to an incident that led to the death of Neil Comins, 39, who died following an assault in Cope Road on Wednesday, January 3.
