Man dead and women fighting for life after three-vehicle crash
Emergency services were called to Alloa Road at Park Terrace in Cambus at midnight on Sunday after a collision between a Citroen C1, a Ford Fiesta and an Audi A4. The 48-year-old backseat passenger of the Citroen was pronounced dead at the scene while both the driver and front seat passenger were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. The passenger’s condition has been described as critical while the driver is stable.
The two occupants of the Audi A4, a man and a woman, were not injured in the collision.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed that “the 32-year-old female driver of the Ford Fiesta has been arrested following the incident”.
“Enquiries are ongoing,” they added but the road has now reopened.
