Man fighting for his life after air ambulance lands at serious crash in Hereford
A man is fighting for his life following a serious crash in Hereford[1]. Police were called to the A49 in Llandinabo at around 9am yesterday (January 15). The crash involved a Ford Focus estate and a Ford Fusion hatchback.
A man, aged in his 80s, was rushed to hospital by air ambulance while a woman, also in her 80s, was seriously injured. West Mercia Police[2] said the man remains in hospital today (January 16) in a critical condition. Investigating officers are appealing for information on the crash.
The force said: “Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or has dashcam footage, is urged to contact PC Anthony Mansfield by emailing [email protected][5] quoting incident 71 of the 15 January 2024.
“Alternatively, information can be shared anonymously with the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or by visiting here[6].”
