Man found dead near Easterhouse Sports Centre as emergency services swarm area
A man has been found dead near to the Easterhouse[1] Sports Centre this morning. Emergency[2] services rushed to the scene in the Auchinlea Road after receiving reports of a sudden death at around 8.30am on Sunday, December 31. A 73 -year-old has sadly passed away.
Police[3] believe there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident. A report is set to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
The area is still taped off as emergency services remain on the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.30am on Sunday, 31 December, 2023, we were called to the sudden death of a 73-year-old man in the Auchinlea Road area of Glasgow.
There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
