Man injured after being dragged along road by taxi in Newmarket

A man suffered leg and arm injuries after he was dragged along a road by a taxi. Suffolk Police[1] is appealing for witnesses to the incident in Newmarket[2]. It happened between 11pm and midnight on December 15 after the victim leaned into the vehicle to speak to the driver on one of the High Street[3] taxi ranks. He suffered leg and arm injuries after the driver drove off.

A police spokesperson said: “Anyone with information or who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Suffolk[4] Police, quoting crime reference 37/72708/23.
