Man is stabbed in back of head at a busy Deception Bay shopping centre

A man has been stabbed in the back of the head in the middle of the day at a busy shopping centre.
He suffered a serious laceration when he was set upon at the shopping village on Bailey Road in Deception Bay, north of Brisbane[2], at 12:45pm on Thursday.
The injured man was rushed o Redcliffe Hospital in a stable condition.
It is understood that members of the public intervened and came to the man's aid before police arrived.
A 32-year-old man has since been arrested over the attack.
Police declared a crime[3] scene and a section of the shopping village's carpark has been taped off.
