A MAN has been killed after being hit by a car on the M1 motorway early this morning. Gardai are currently at the scene of the fatal collision, which involved a car and a pedestrian, on the M1 Northbound near Junction 5 in Lusk, County Dublin[1].

The M1 Northbound from Junction 4 to Junction 5 is currently closed with local diversions in place. A technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators will be conducted.
