Man rushed to hospital after being struck by car in Glasgow

The pedestrian, whose age is unknown, was struck in Partick just after 1.30pm today.

999 crews including fire, ambulance and police, attended Beith Street. The road was closed and the man was taken to hospital. His condition is not known.

A Police Scotland[1] spokesperson said: “We were called around 1.35pm on Friday, January 12, to a report of a crash on Beith Street in Glasgow involving a car and a pedestrian.

“Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a man, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

“The road was closed for recovery.”
