Man rushed to hospital after two-vehicle crash in Glasgow

Officers say the incident, which involved a car and a van, took place on Saracen Street at around 10.15am on Tuesday, January 16.

999 crews then rushed to the scene where one man was taken to hospital. The road was closed during the accident to allow the damaged motors to be removed. It is understood the drivers exchanged details and there will be no further police involvement.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland[1] said: “Around 10.15am on Tuesday, January 16, police received a report of a crash involving a car and a van in Saracen Street, Glasgow. “Emergency services attended and one man was taken by ambulance to hospital. “The road was closed for around one hour to allow the vehicles to be removed.”

A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 10.20am, today to attend a road traffic collision on Saracen Street in Glasgow.

We dispatched one ambulance to the scene and transported one male patient to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.”
