Moment thief struggles to carry FIFTEEN wedding dresses stolen after bridal shop was broken into on New Year’s Day

This is the moment a thief struggled to carry fifteen wedding dresses they stole after they broke into a bridal shop on New Year's Day.
Bridal shop owner Deborah Bayan, from Stockport, was shocked to find her shop had been broken into at the start of the year.
Her front window was shattered and jewellery, flower girl dresses and veils had been taken along with fifteen bridal dresses, totalling around GBP45,000.
Deborah funded and helped to find replacements for each dress that was stolen so the future brides that were her customers were not left empty-handed.

The suspect was reportedly smoking and drinking from a can of beer when they returned to the shop around four times to take more and more dresses until around 8am, when a member of the public phone Deborah.
Deborah, who has owned the business for a decade, told the Manchester Evening News[2]: 'Some of the dresses had already been altered, some were pinned waiting to be altered.
'These girls have been waiting 12 to 18 months, and they have brought their dresses to me to be altered.'

She described footage of the break-in as 'hideous'.

'Even though it's not my fault, I'm still responsible.'
She said the break-in had made her feel vulnerable and she said the footage of the incident was 'hideous'.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: 'Officers were called just after 12.40pm on New Year's Day to a report of a burglary at a business on Buxton Road.
'Anyone with information is asked to report it to officers on 1061 856 9829 quoting log 2158 of 1/1/24 or online through gmp.police.uk
'Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.'
