Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash near The Downs

(Image: IWCP) A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after being seriously hurt in a crash on the approach to The Downs Road at Ashey yesterday (Wednesday). Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary was called to a collision on Ashey Road at 3.28pm.

A motorbike and a van were involved.

It happened on the bend, near to West Ashey Farm.

Police said a motorcyclist suffered a serious injury.
