Multi-Vehicle Newport Crash Leads To Emergency Service Call-Out

A multi-vehicle crash adjacent to Newport’s dual carriageway had led to emergency services arriving on the scene this morning (Monday). Two ambulance crews have arrived on the scene, with no access to the roundabout towards B&Q on Dodnor Lane. Newport firefighters were alerted to the road traffic collision at 8:44am this morning.
A spokesperson for the Fire Service said: “No persons were trapped and HIWFRS made the scene safe before returning to station at 9am.” The extent of any injuries is not yet known.
