New Farm stabbing: Man is knifed in the neck in ritzy Queensland suburb

A man has been stabbed in the neck in a ritzy Queensland[2] suburb and rushed to hospital.
Queensland Police were called to a Heal Street address in New Farm, Brisbane about 7.30pm with reports a man, 44, had sustained stab wounds to his neck.
The man was taken to Royal Brisbane[3] and Women's Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A crime[4] scene was declared at the property and investigations into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious, or may have CCTV or dashcam, to come forward.
