Northumbria Police looking for man after Newcastle stabbing
Police are searching for a man they believe may have information about the incident. At approximately 3am on Saturday, October 14 a man was on Grainger Street when he was involved in an altercation and assaulted by an unknown male.
Northumbria Police said: “The man received injuries consistent with being caused by a bladed article. “He was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries and was later discharged.” Officers investigating the incident have today (Monday) released two images of a man who they would like to speak in connection with the report from October.
Northumbria police revealed that the man they are looking for was in the area at the time the incident is reported to have taken place and officers believe he could have valuable information that may be able to assist the ongoing investigation.
The man, or anyone who recognises him, is asked to contact police via the ‘Report’ tool on the Northumbria Police website or by calling 101, quoting crime number 128862B/23.
