Nottingham: CCTV shows moment robbers crash stolen milk float

CCTV footage has been released showing the moment a stolen milk float crashed into a wall.

Rico Siddell and Luke Solomon assaulted the milkman while he was on his rounds in Basford, Nottingham, on 17 March 2022.

He was punched repeatedly to the head by both offenders and briefly lost consciousness.

Police later found the vehicle embedded in a wall in Tewkesbury Drive, with smoke coming from the bonnet and a pool of milk all over the street.

Both defendants were sentenced to two years in a young offenders institution, suspended for 21 months.
