One person hurt after car overturns in Calbourne crash

Crash in Calbourne. (Image: IWCP) One person is being treated by paramedics after a car overturned in Calbourne on the Isle of Wight this morning (Thursday). As previously reported by the County Press, firefighters, police and paramedics were all called to Middle Road at around 9am.[1]

Officers closed the road between its junctions of Newbridge Road and Chessell Pottery.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service (HIWFRS) said firefighters from Newport and Freshwater fire stations assisted with the rescue of one casualty.
