Paramedics treat one person after Leyland crash

One person was treated by paramedics after a crash in Leyland. Advertisement [7] Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service[8] sent crews from Bamber Bridge and Penwortham to Dunkirk Lane in Moss Side.

A water bowser from Leyland[9] and an urban search and rescue team from Chorley were also sent to the crash. Two cars were involved and one person was released from their vehicle and treated at the scene. Advertisements

Firefighters were on site for around 45-minutes at 3.30pm on Tuesday (16 January). Lancashire County Council have issued an ice warning for motorists[11] throughout Wednesday as the snow melts and driving conditions become increasingly difficult overnight and in the early hours.
