Part of A127 now CLOSED due to flooding – after car left abandoned (Image: Google / Newsquest) Part of the A127 has now been closed due to flooding after photos showed a car was left abandoned in floodwater this morning. One lane has been closed on the A127 Southend-bound, as well as the slip road to the B186, due to the flooding.

Flood warnings are in place for south Essex, with concerns about high river levels caused by the heavy overnight rain.
