Part of Route 56 reopened in Leicester after crash closes it
Huntoon Memorial Highway, or part of Route 56, reopened Tuesday night after a crash prompted police to close it this afternoon, Leicester police told MassLive.
The road between Stafford Street in Leicester and Mill Street in North Oxford was closed to any oncoming cars, the Leicester Police Department posted on Facebook[1] at 3:30 p.m.
The road reopened after 5:30 p.m.
The crash was reported by the Telegram & Gazette[3] as a “multi-vehicle” crash.
The police and fire departments did not provide more information about the crash when asked by MassLive.
