Pedestrian dies after being hit by a car in New Milford

Police say they identified 43-year-old Alexander L.

Jefferson III, of Jamaica, New York, unresponsive in the southbound travel lane.

According to local officials, Jefferson III was attempting to cross the intersection on Danbury Road near New Milford High School when he was struck.
