Pedestrian seriously injured in crash in Rugby

A pedestrian was rushed to hospital with serious head injuries after a collision with a car in Rugby[1]. It happened on Murray Road, close to its junction with Craven Road, at around 2.20pm on Tuesday, January 9. A blue Peugeot 308 was involved, Warwickshire[2] Police said.

The casualty, a man in his 50s, suffered head injuries and was taken to hospital. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. The force is now appealing for anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch. “If you were driving along the road and have footage of the incident, we’d like to hear from you,” a spokesperson said. “Please contact the force[3] quoting incident number 174 of 9 January.”
