Police arrest a killer for the 1978 murder of his ex-wife
Retired research scientist Christopher Harrisson killed his ex-wife Brenda Page in Aberdeen in 1978, a year after the couple were divorced.
But it would be 45 years before he was finally convicted of her murder.
A new BBC documentary Murder Trial: The Killing of Dr Brenda Page examines the case from Harrisson's arrest in 2020 through to his trial last year.
A detective who helped finally secure his conviction said the pensioner thought he was "too clever" to be caught[1].
