Police award ‘shed of the week’ to this car in Fenton
Police have dished out an unwanted ‘shed of the week’ tag – to a battered car pulled over in Fenton[1]. Photographs of the Kia show the front end has been smashed in – to the extent where cops could see the engine. Now the vehicle is off the road and in a compound after the stop in Fenton.
Images snapped by officers with Staffordshire Police’s[2] roads policing unit (RPU) show the car pulled over on what appears to be the busy King Street. Their snaps show a seemingly bald tyre, no headlight, a snapped registration plate, a crumpled bonnet, and a heavily damaged bumper. Writing about the stop on X – formerly Twitter – last night the specialist officers wrote: “Shed of the week is awarded to this Kia spotted by RPU patrol in Fenton this evening by an uninsured driver.
The vehicle is in such poor and dangerous condition it has been prohibited – even when the owner proves they have insurance on it from the compound.” Want more court and crime news? Sign up to our court and crime newsletter here[3]
