Road closed after lorry blaze lasts an hour

A lorry fire has closed the North Walsham Road near Coltishall (Image: Newsquest/ Google) Police had to close a busy road in north Norfolk after a lorry caught fire. The closure of the B1150 North Walsham Road in Sco Ruston, near Coltishall, comes after emergency services were called at 2.30pm to a lorry on fire blocking the road.

Fire crews spent around an hour tackling the blaze before fully extinguishing the fire at 3.25pm.

Emergency services remain on the scene as the lorry is recovered.

Traffic has built in the area with especially heavy congestion northbound.
