‘Road conditions are extremely dangerous’ Iowa State Patrol responds to I-80 crash
WILLIAMSBURG, Iowa (KCRG) – A multi-vehicle crash completely blocked I-80 just west of Williamsburg early Friday morning.
The drivers were not injured in the crash and the roadway has since reopened, but troopers with the Iowa State Patrol say the crash is a good reminder for people to stay home amid Friday’s wintry weather.
“Please, don’t put yourself or others in danger,” troopers said in a social media post. “The road conditions are extremely dangerous!”
Troopers also shared images of the crash, which appear to show an SUV that had collided with a semi.
