Tamworth Road was closed as a result of the crash (Image: PA / Google) Several people have been treated for injuries and road closures are in place following a crash in Croydon. Today (January 10) at around 6:21am police and ambulance crews were called to the scene of the crash in Tamworth Road.

Several people were treated at the scene for minor injuries. The Metropolitan Police[1] has confirmed that no arrests have been made and road closures and safety cordons remain in place whilst the highway is closed. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called at 06:21hrs on Wednesday, 10 January to reports of a collision at Tamworth Road, Croydon[2].

"Officers and London Ambulance[3] Service [LAS] attended. At the scene a number of people were treated for minor injuries. "There were no arrests.

"Road closures and safety cordons remain in place while the highway is cleared."
