A small plane has made an emergency landing in south-east Ajax Monday evening after the engines failed. Durham Police say the plane landed safely on the roadway near Bayly Street and Audley Rd. S.
No injuries have been reported and only a few light poles have been damaged A tweet from the Town of Ajax declares municipal officials are aware of the aviation accident and that emergency services are on the scene. Police are asking residents and motorists to avoid the area.
