Stolen truck found; foot chase
Stolen truck located A suspicious-looking truck was determined to be stolen after examination by Brandon police on Tuesday. While on the 3600 block of Rosser Avenue around 3 p.m., officers saw a white GMC Sierra.

An investigation revealed that the licence plates on the truck did not match the listed description and confirmed that the vehicle had been stolen.
Anyone with information regarding the truck’s theft is asked to call Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345. Officers chase curfew violator Brandon police had to chase a suspect found to be violating his curfew late Tuesday evening.
Around 10:40 p.m. on the 1500 block of Stickney Avenue, officers saw the man who was known to be on a 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew. They tried to arrest the man, who ran away and was caught shortly after. He was due to appear in court on Wednesday on charges of failing to comply with a release order and resisting arrest.
Unwanted visitor arrested Police arrived at the location of a reported break and enter early Wednesday morning on the 300 block of Percy Street, only to be told by the homeowner that the 44-year-old suspect was known to her and she just wanted him to leave. The man was arrested due to his high level of intoxication and was due to be released when sober.
