Takeaway order arrives during Peterborough drug search
The moment a takeaway delivery appeared midway through a drugs search has been captured on police bodycam.
Officers had stopped at a McDonald’s in Peterborough on their way back from a job when they received a tip-off that the occupants of a car in the drive-through were smoking cannabis.
As they spoke to the driver and passenger, the occupants’ order turned up – at which point an officer quipped: “That’s bad timing.”
Cambridgeshire Police said the “relevant offences have been dealt with” following the incident.
