Tesco delivery van caught up in Hanley crash as police called

Police have been called to reports of a city centre crash. The collision appears to have involved a car and a Tesco delivery van. Staffordshire Police[1] were at the scene - on Etruria Road, in Hanley[2] - just after midday today.

They had coned off the crash scene and put a sign in the road. The collision had happened just off the Festival Park flyover roundabout. One passing motorist told StokeonTrentLive: "The car was crumpled."

StokeonTrentLive has approached Staffordshire Police for a statement regarding the incident.

Any witnesses can call the police on 101.
