‘The engine was in the median’: 3-car crash leads to hour-long cleanup in Twinsburg: PHOTOS

TWINSBURG, Ohio (WOIO) – A three-car accident Saturday led to an hour-long cleanup on Interstate 480 Saturday morning.

The accident happened just after 7:45 a.m. Saturday on I-480 just east of the State Route 91 exit.

“The engine was on the median,” one Twinsburg sergeant said.

Though the crash was serious, only two people were injured.

One man had his foot caught and had to be mechanically rescued from the vehicle by Twinsburg Fire Department. He was taken to the hospital.

Another victim hit his head during the accident and was taken to the hospital for stitches.

Both victims are expected to be OK.

Police say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
