Three rushed to hospital after five car crash shuts down A9
Three people have been left in hospital after a five car crash closed down the A9 near Inverness on Thursday. Emergency services were called to the road near Daviot, after a multi vehicle collision at around 7.20am on Thursday. Officers locked down the road in both directions after a crash involving five vehicles.
The Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed that three people were taken to Raigmore Hospital. Their current condition is unknown at this stage.

The road later reopened at around 10am.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 7:06am to attend a five car RTC on the A9.
“Four ambulances were dispatched to the scene and three patients were transported to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness.”
