Tollerton bridge crash live updates as lorry gets stuck under bridge

A lorry has crashed into a railway bridge at Tollerton this afternoon (Wednesday, January 4). The eastbound carriageway on A606 Melton Road is now blocked as a result, while emergency services are at the scene. The traffic in the area is currently slow while motorists are passing on a give-and-take basis using the westbound carriageway.

Emergency services are on scene assisting.

Emergency services are enforcing a give and take using the westbound carriageway to allow for motorists to pass.”
