Traffic live updates after M1 crash at Leicester Forest East causes 4-mile tailbacks
There were long queues on the southbound M1 this morning after a crash at Leicester Forest East services[1]. The collision, involving two HGVs, happened on the exit slip road for services just after 10am today. By 10.45am two of the four lanes had been closed while the crash scene was dealt with and queues were about four miles long.
The drivers of the two vehicles were checked over by paramedics but there were no serious injuries.
All lanes re-opened at about 12.40pm.
