Two people injured in crash in Coventry
Two people were injured in a two car crash in Coventry last night. It happened in Burnaby Road at around 8.30pm. The road was blocked off by several police patrol cars and an ambulance was spotted at the scene.
West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) has confirmed that an ambulance and a paramedic officer were sent following 999 calls to report a road traffic collision. Medics found two people were injured – a man and a teenager. It is not clear if they were in the same car.
“On arrival, crews discovered two cars had been involved in a collision and there were two patients requiring assessment,” WMAS spokesperson said. “A man, the driver, was treated by ambulance staff for minor injuries and taken to University Hospital Coventry[1] and Warwickshire[2] for further treatment. A teenage boy was treated for minor injuries and discharged at the scene.” CoventryLive has contacted West Midlands Police[3] about the collision.
