Two people rushed to hospital with serious injuries after bike and car crash near Yeovil

Two people were rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a crash near Yeovil. Police[1] were called to the A30 Yeovil[2] Road following a two-vehicle crash at 9.38pm last night (January 2). The collision involved a blue BMW and a red Peugeot motorcycle. The rider of the motorcycle, a man aged in his 40s from Yeovil, and his pillion passenger, a woman aged in her 30s also from Yeovil, were seriously injured.

Emergency services attended the scene and road closures were put in place. Investigating officers from Dorset Police are now keen to hear from anyone with relevant information on the crash.

Police Constable Mark Burton, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out an investigation to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I am keen to hear from anyone with information that could assist our enquiries.
