Woman (95) and man (74) in hospital after one-car crash near Dallas, with driver charged

A 74-year-old man has been charged after a crash that left himself and a 95-year-old woman in hospital. A one-car crash took place shortly before 2pm on January 4 near the village of Dallas, with the driver and the elderly woman, who was a passenger, taken to hospital as a precaution. Locals reports suggested at least four police cars and an ambulance were on the scene.

A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: “At about 1.55pm on Thursday, January 4, we were called to one-car crash on Main Road, Dallas, Forres. “Officers attended and a 95-year-old woman and a 74-year old man were taken to hospital as a precaution. “A 74 year-old man was charged with a road traffic offence.

A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
