Driver killed in articulated lorry crash on A82
A lorry driver has died following a one-vehicle crash in the Stirling area.
The 61-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene following the incident, involving a white Scania articulated lorry, on the A82 between Crianlarich and Tyndrum.
The road was closed for about 11 hours from 07:20 on Tuesday morning while an initial investigation got under way.
Police said inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash were ongoing.
Officers said the man's family had been made aware.
The road was reopened at about 18:25 on Tuesday evening.
Police have appealed for information[1] and asked for anyone travelling in the area at the time of the crash to share dashcam footage with officers.
