This is the terrifying moment a car crashed into a busy Warrington restaurant during dinner service, narrowly missing customers.
A man, 31, has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a silver Jaguar hit the Rokka Bar & Grill at about 9.30pm on Friday, February 9.
Firefighters and paramedics attended the scene on Warrington Road in the Culcheth area and the driver of the car was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Restaurant owner, Gultekin Polat, said people had been sitting at the window when the car crashed into it — and about 40 customers and 15 staff were in the restaurant at the time.

He described ‘glass flying’, ‘people screaming’ and said the moment was ‘like a bomb’ going off.
Speaking to the BBC[2], Mr Polat said: ‘I don’t care about the money or the business. I am just very happy that no-one was hurt or injured.’
Mr Polat said it would cost around £60,000 to repair the damage, but hopes to be back open by Valentine’s Day.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said a 31-year-old man from Warrington had been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and “released pending further enquiries”.
