Live updates as ‘plane crashes’ into Anglesey garden
No reported casualties after ‘light aircraft crash’
Arwel Jones, 56, who lives a few houses down from the crash, told the BBC he heard the light aircraft’s engine cut out. “It was over our estate and you could hear that the engine was getting starved on fuel and just ticking over,” he said. “He was so low to the ground and he just ploughed down into a tree in a neighbour’s garden. I couldn’t believe my eyes. When we saw that happening I was just hoping he hadn’t crashed into anybody or into anybody’s house.”
Mr Jones went to check on the pilot, whom he described as “okay and talking”, the BBC reports.
There are not believed to be any casualties.
