Man dies after being found with serious injuries on Derby footpath
A man has died after being found with serious injuries on a Derby footpath. The route, near Station Approach, was shut for several hours after the man was found at 6.40am today (February 12).
A statement from Derbyshire police reads: “The force was called to reports that a man had been found with serious injuries on a footpath off Station Approach in Derby city centre at 6.40am today. The man, who is in 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“There is not believed to be any suspicious circumstances at this time and his family have been made aware. Enquiries are ongoing and officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area, in particular any drivers who may have captured any dashcam footage on Pride Parkway[1] between 9pm last night (Sunday, February 11) and 6.40am today.”
